The Wedding Singer - Jonny as Robbie Hart

The hilarious Broadway musical makes its UK debut in Manchester!

‘The funniest 80’s Wedding in town and you’re invited!’
New York Post

The co-producers of FOOTLOOSE, FAME, SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER, HOT FLUSH and the new production of ASPECTS OF LOVE present the first ever UK National Tour and pre-West End production of this major new musical!

Remember when hair was big, greed was good and shoulder pads were in? You’ve guessed it, it’s the 80’s – the decade that fashion forgot but audiences love to revisit.

Wannabe rock star Robbie Hart is everyone’s favourite Wedding Singer. He’s the life and soul of the party until he gets jilted at the altar. Shot through the heart, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own. Enter Julia, a waitress who wins his heart - only trouble is, Julia’s about to be married! Can Robbie pull off the performance of the decade and win the girl of his dreams?

‘BRILLIANT! Audiences haven’t had this much fun since MAMMA MIA!’
People Magazine

THE WEDDING SINGER features television star JONATHAN WILKES, whose theatre credits include the lead roles in The Rocky Horror Show, Tommy and Grease, and NATALIE CASEY, who has just wowed the West End in Fame and is well known from BBC2’s smash hit comedy Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps.

Based on the 1998 blockbuster movie starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, this hotly anticipated UK premiere direct from Broadway boasts the perfect marriage of hilarious comedy and a sensational score.

Directed by and with spectacular choreography from Karen Bruce, THE WEDDING SINGER will open at The Palace Theatre, Manchester on Friday 22 February 2008 and will tour the UK until July 2008.

THE WEDDING SINGER is the hottest party in town so say ‘I do’ to the biggest Wedding of the century, you’re guaranteed a great reception!
